My path into the internal arts began in my 30s, shaped by a diverse background in martial disciplines, visual art, and meditative practice.

Early experiences in karate and Aikido, combined with a dedicated routine of Transcendental Meditation and an academic focus on abstract expressionism, cultivated a sensitivity to both form and formlessness, an interplay that would later find deeper expression in Tai Chi and Qi Gong.

My formal training in Kung Fu Wing Tjun began in Amsterdam, where I advanced to black belt level and later became a certified instructor.

During this period, I developed a particular interest in the internal dimensions of practice, guided by Grandmaster Sifu Sergio, whose teaching emphasized Six Core Elements. Through learning Song, breath regulation, and the refinement of awareness, I felt there is an endless universe within.

At the Academy, my constant mentor Sifu Paul guided me to explore further.

This led me into the study of Qi Gong and Tai Chi, cultivating forms such as Ba Duan Jin, Shibashi, and Yang-style Tai Chi. Over time, my focus became more rooted in the underlying principles of internal cultivation—specifically the integration of movement, intention (Yi), and vital energy (Qi).

Currently, I am engaged in a Master program of The Prana Dynamics and direct training with a teacher from Taiwan.

This ongoing research and cultivation centers on the essence behind the internal arts, with the ultimate goal of integrating with the energy body and being free to express creatively within the universal principles of Qi.

In both practice and teaching, I approach Tai Chi and Qi Gong as living systems of knowledge—methods for cultivating balance, resilience, serenity, and a deeper connection between body, mind/heart, and energy, including the environment.
